Robert Earl – Owner, Head Coach Gymnastics Team & Program Director

Bob became involved in gymnastics in Alaska to help develop gymnastics in Anchorage through the schools and private clubs. His expertise includes:

  • 34 years experience as a compulsory to Level 10 coach in the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Development program with many Level 9 and 10 regional and national competitors including trained the only Level 10 National Meet competitors and Region 2 National Team members from the Treasure Valley in the past 5 years, coach of a TOPS program qualifier, professional member of USAG (governing body of gymnastics), safety certified, presenter at a Region 2 Congress, gymnastic camp director and instructor, co-owner of Alaska Olympic Gymnastics Academy in Anchorage for 12 years, and an expanded club program in Wasilla, Alaska.
  • Junior High and High School Gymnastics coach.

Career: Education B.A. from Adams State College plus additional years of educational courses during career as junior high school teacher with the Anchorage School District. Taught science and physical education for over 22 years as well as coached in many fields: gymnastics (high school and junior high), swimming, track and field, baseball, basketball.

Janet Earl – Owner, Business Manager, Coach

Gymnastics has been a part of Janet’s life for over 35 years in the following capacities:

  • 34 years experience as a compulsory to Level 10 coach in the USA
  • Gymnastics Junior Olympic Development program with many Level 10 regional and national competitors including having trained trained the only Level 10 National Meet competitors and Region 2 National Team members from the Treasure Valley in the past 5 years, coach of a TOPS program qualifier, as many years in the field of judging having organized the state of Alaska under the national judges association in the mid 70′s; currently holding a National Ranking as a judge, professional member of USAG (governing body of gymnastics), safety certified, Kinder Accreditation for Teachers (for preschool education in gymnastics), women’s Level I-IV skill development instructor, formerly USAG State Director in Alaska, co-owner of Alaska Olympic Gymnastics Academy in Anchorage for 12 years, and an expanded club program in Wasilla, Alaska.
  • High School Gymnastics coach 16 years, gymnastics Coach representative Anchorage School District, Collegiate gymnast.

Taught social studies and physical education for over 22 years as well as coached in many fields: gymnastics (high school and junior high), volleyball, track and field.

Paige Perkins
